Jewellery Spans History

Jewellery Spans History

All through all cultures and their histories, jewellery have always been a part of grooming from the highest ranks in society to the lowest dregs on dregs on the street. Jewellery was even used to distinguish royalty from the rest of the population. Promotion in rank followed a corresponding improvement in the kind of jewelry used by Tibetan royalty. Goldsmith used indigenous materials like lapis lazuli, coral, and amber to make jewelry for amulets against infertility, bullets and bring good luck or good harvest. Even cave drawings would be observed to have loop earring or nose rings on mean and on women.

Wearing jewelry is a form of self-expression. It is welcomed in society to be one's outlet in sending a message, express hidden desires and aspirations or simply to accentuate their otherwise plain face. Used with the proper clothes, jewelry can bring out the best in us.
