The music industry has become a mainstream method of drawing in new inspiration for fashion jewelry. Many artists from the music industry have started their own designs and fashion labels, while many fashion designers have taken the essence of music artists and delivered these into jewelry pieces.

Music industry dropout Tim Foster wanted to make a special gift for his girlfriend, so he took a penny, a rock, a hammer, and made a simple but gorgeous pendant. That's how the Pennyroyal Silver company began, and it now sells a line of fashion jewelry pendants inspired by rock music titles. Foster calls these pendants Troubadour pendants, and his company has attracted a celebrity following with fans that include Jack Black, The Foo Fighters, The Black Eyed Peas and Sheryl Crow.

Even though Foster is no longer in the music business, a portion of the profits from every Troubadour pendant he sells benefits the charity MusiCares. This foundation was established in 1989 by an industry group, and it's primary purpose is to focus the resources and attention of the music industry on human service issues that directly impact the health and welfare of the music community. Programs include emergency financial assistance, addiction recovery, outreach and leadership activities and senior housing.

The fine jewelry at goldsea24 is designed, made and maintained using a range of fine jewelry tools that most people don't even know exist. Often, buyers of jewelry care only about the end product of the jewelry itself. They don't care about the process and equipment needed to make it.

However, if you'd like to know more about how your fine jewelry was actually made and checked, you'll soon realize that there are many tools that are involved. These specially designed jewelry tools help to shape, mould and fit the pieces together. One such tool is the loupe, which is a type of magnifying glass that helps jewelry makers to see the fine details of the jewelry piece. They are particularly useful to checking for any imperfections in a gemstone, as well as servicing the small parts of a jewelry watch. Loupes can also be used for helping to write engravings on jewelry.

Another tool for making and checking fine jewelry is the gram scale. This is a kind of weighing scale that is used for measuring the weight of precious gemstones and metals. The scale helps to determine the weight, which is very closely related to the value of the jewelry.

Westende Jewellers, a Christchurch jewellery store, had become a mark of identification of the September earthquakes. The jewellery store is all set to reopen for the third time in over one year time on November 28 at the Colombo Street in Sydenham. The jewellery store was located on the corner of Manchester and Worcester streets for 30 years before being a victim to the disastrous earthquake which hit September last year. After that, the jewellery store re-domiciled twice. First they moved to Bell's Antiques on Gloucester Street where again they were hit by the February earthquake. Then they moved to Andrew Kelso's garage as a temporary location. The owner of the jewellery store, Mr. Roger Kelso, looked hopeful for the future business considering the new location as not the most glamorous one.
